Planning

To avoid hitting the target and missing the point, a plan needs to be developed to guide decisions and policymakers. The plan needs to be jointly developed with relevant stakeholders (Government, Citizens and Development Partners) participating throughout the development processes for ownership. A Plan provides detailed programs & activities, targets and intended impact within the plan period which allow performance tracking at regular intervals to avoid deviations. A Plan is an approved document which outlines the aspirations of the state. It highlights a strategic framework to realize the vision, resource projections to guide and prioritize expenditure, and an implementation plan to deliver results and monitor progress. It is a blueprint of strategies and actions that are to be taken to achieve the development aspirations. It provides a focus direction that will guide policy and decision makers towards achieving the state vision.

Development Aid and Coordination

Department of Development Aid Coordination is one of the departments under the Planning and Budget Commission. It is the entry and exit point of all development Partners in the State. The department coordinates Development Partners activities and ensures that signed Memorandum of Understanding are in line with Government Plans and priorities. The department is the link between Partners (International and Local) in terms of foreign and local support for even development. Support to State can either be Technical, Financial (Grants or Loans) or Supplies.

The Department of Development Aid Coordination is one of the departments under the Planning and Budget Commission. It is the entry and exit point of all development Partners in the State. ADMINISTRATION AND HUMAN RESOURCE

The Department exists as one of the 5 Departments of the Commission. The Department is basically responsible for matters related to general administration, financial and human resources management. It provides support to all Departments and Units of the Commission in the discharge of their respective duties. The Department has the responsibility of overseeing the effective and efficient utilization of the Human, Physical and Financial Resources of the Commission. The Department is comprised of two divisions viz: Human Resource and General Administration with the Accounts as a Unit.
